| There are times when third party's will drag their feet in paying their invoices, and you will need to lodge a conciliation request. |
| Before taking this action, you will need to ensure that you have made requests for payments to the relevant third party, and they are simply giving you the run around. |
| Note: Employer liability is generally sited for late payments. This is when it the employers responsibility (liability) to pay the first $700+ (and something, is indexed each year),
then after that the insurance company takes over the payments. |
| In the case that the patient doesn't reach this thresold before discontinuing treatment, the insurer needs to be made away, and they will have a chance to invoice the employer directly. |
| It is when this system fails and we are stuck with outstanding debt that we use complete the concilliation request. |
Payment is generally made to us pretty quickly after this.
