TAC Bookings

TAC Overview (Transport Accident Commission)
Patients who have had a transport accident (car, motorbike, bicycle) may come in with a claim through the TAC. They will need an approved claim number and DOI (Date of Injury) to start physiotherpy services. These need to be entered in the Case Details on Nookal.
PY600R: TAC are booked with the PY600Rcode for Initail (40min) consultations
PY602R: (20 min) for subsequent consultations.
PY614R: Other less common is TAC extended consult PY614R (40min)
PY602G: TAC group classes are PY602G
Practitoners will need to request a higher service agreement pay rate for neach new TAC client.     This can be found here
If the practitioner wants to request alternative services ie. Myotherapy, Podiatry, Exercise Physiology, they will need to send a written request to TAC. It is advisable not to start this service until written approval has been sent to us.
Some TAC patients will have authorisation for TAC taxi bookings. You can book these for the patient by calling 13Cabs and quoting the Taxi autho number. The patient will be able to give you this.
