Patients who have Type 2 Diabetes are also eligible for participation in the group exercise classes run by the exercise physiologist.
They will need to get a referral from their doctor to be eligible.
The cost of these classes are covered completely by Medicare at the cost of $53.80 for the inital assessment, and $18.95 for each of the x8 group classes.
Paricipants are eligible for a maximim of 8 classs, and this is seperate from a normal EPC referral.
