| Invoice For Medical Records |
| Lawyers will often send a request through for copies of a patients Medical records. |
| They will include a signed authority from the client as part of their request. |
We charge for these, so when they come in, we create an invoice for Medical Records and send it back to the lawyer.

Once this invoice has been paid, we can create the records for them.

| Prepare the Medical Records |
| To prepare the Medical Records, you will need to provide a full copy of the patients Clinical Notes, as well as any documentation we have in the patients documents. |
Go into Nookal and export the clinical notes and print them as a pdf.

| Hot tip: Create a new folder to download these documents altogether in. |
Go to the patients Documents, and begin downloading each document individually:

Make sure you save each of these files into the file you created earlier.

| Using WeTransfer |
If there are minimal files, you may be able to simply email these across to the lawyer, but more often than not, you will need to download the files and send them via WeTransfer
.

| Use the free account and follow the prompts. |
| You will get a confirmation email with a code to enter to prove your email address (use work email address) |
| Enter recipients email address (usually the laywer). |
| Upload the documents. |
| Title can be patient name with the words "Medical Records" |
| You will get confirmation that it has been sent, and also another confirmation when the files have been opened form the receipient. |
| Files are securily held for 7 days using this free vervion of WeTranfer. |
